Our firm has a ‘dedicated’ current account into which all tax amounts, due for which the notary is substitute or liable for taxes, are transferred. At the client’s request, this account can be used to receive as deposit the price (in full or in part) that will be used for the purchase of a property. This is a secure deposit, which the notary will release for the benefit of the seller once the purchase has been completed.
Notaries Fiordiliso and Lupoli have a dedicated current account for the safe deposit of sums intended for the purchase of a property. These amounts constitute separate assets and do not become part of the notary’s inheritance; moreover, they are exempt from attachment and seizure.
